THE WESLEYAN BIRDS

The Wesleyan Symphonic Choir, has long been regarded as one of Ghana's finest choral groups. The choir's mandate is to make a diversity of choral music, performed to the highest standard, accessible to a growing audience. The Wesleyan Symphonic Choir presents a concert series each year (Wesleyan Praise and Akyɛdze pa Christmas Concert), engaging some of Ghana's finest Choral Music Composers as guests.

The Wesleyan Symphonic Choir has performed joint concerts in and around Accra and Takoradi with such diverse Institutions and organisations as The Parliament House of the Republic of Ghana, The Nigerian High Commission( Ghana) and Salt and Light Ministries.

The choir is regularly heard on Rainbow Radio International. It has three CD recordings ( Choose you this day, Hymns with their meanings and Nyame Ye).

The choir's singers are highly committed and share a common ideal of making music to the highest standard.
